Decatur Area Reading Council
Do you have great ideas the library needs to know about? If so, perhaps you should join the Decatur Area Reading Council! The Decatur Area Reading Council (DARC) is a group of teen volunteers who work with the library to create and host teen programs, promote reading, and much more.

Gaming in the Library

Every second Saturday of the month join us for a day of tabletop gaming and roleplaying games at the Decatur Public Library. Featuring a growing variety of games. The McDonald Worley Personal Injury Law Firm is offering an annual sponsorship award of $1,000 for U.S. high school seniors seeking a degree in an accredited four year university/college as well as first year students. The program will be awarded for the first time in 2016, and will continue annually to provide opportunity and support in the form of financial awards to students working to build skills and advance their education for use in service of their communities.
